storyline training project

Storyline_Project_1_edited_edited.jpg

The Articulate Storyline Project was the final project of the Advanced Instructional Design class, I attended at George Washington University.  The focus of this class was rapid instructional design in which the project went through the Instructional Design processes from analysis to a prototype of an eLearning course over a 6 week time period.

The project required to creation of a Design Document and a technical storyboard that outlined the entire eLearning course.  The final requirement was a working prototype that consisted of one module of the course, which I developed in Adobe Captivate 2017.  Click on the buttons below to view the Design Document, an example of the storyboard, and the completed prototype.

Mason Safety Activity

On a school project, I partnered with a classmate to create an eLearning training web site for new hires in a masonry company. Part of my role was to create a scenario based safety activity, in which the learners would identify unsafe conditions and determine the best course of action to resolve the issue.

Software Used: Adobe Captivate  &  Adobe Illustrator

Medical Terminology Course

To help non-medical professionals be able to define medical terms they may come across in their job roles,  I developed an eLearning course that taught the structure of medical terms to help them quickly identify the term meanings.

Automated Phone system activity

During the analysis of a project to train new hires on the daily processes of their job role, it was discovered that new hires struggled with navigating through insurance carrier automated phone systems. To address this issue, I developed an eLearning activity that simulated using an automated phone answering system.

To address performance gaps employees and new hires had with locating information contained in medical records, I developed an eLearning course to teach employees about medical records, including how the records are organized.
